Grace Mundell – Byron Bergen CSD

Advocated for the recognition of Emergency Medical Services as an essential federal service while engaging directly with emergency service professionals and completing the training necessary to become a New York State Certified EMT.

Sutton Sanders & Luci Borello Albion CSD

Conducted extensive research on Revolutionary War veterans buried in Orleans County, secured historical markers, helped replace a damaged veteran’s headstone, and worked to preserve and promote local history through community partnerships.

Aubrianna Sager – Wayland-Cohocton CSD

Raised awareness about mental health & eating disorders through a school-wide presentation at a Unified Basketball Tournament, launched a fundraising campaign benefiting the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and encouraged students to support one another through her advocacy efforts.

Rachel Rickettson – Attica CSD

Researched pedestrian safety and successfully advocated for the installation of bus stop warning signs near her home, improving safety for local students and demonstrating the power of civic action to address community concerns.

Ethan Davison – Wayland Cohocton CSD

Researched water pollution and environmental conservation, organized a community cleanup along Canadice Lake, coordinated with state and local agencies, and mobilized volunteers to help protect local natural resources.

Carter KuipersByron-Bergen CSD

Focused on farmland preservation by researching the effects of urbanization and energy development on agriculture, educating others about agricultural sustainability, and advocating for supportive legislation.

Landon PangrazioOakfield-Alabama CSD

Through his Seal of Civic Readiness project, Landon researched immigration policy and ICE reform (not abolition) of ICE) then turned his learning into civic action by writing to federal representatives and organizing a community rally in Batavia. He worked with local advocacy groups, created public outreach materials, and helped foster constructive dialogue around immigration, demonstrating courage, informed citizenship, and the power of student voice.

Peyton Harkness & Milaya Kosinski – Caledonia-Mumford CSD

Researched the impact of poverty on single mothers and partnered with the Willow Domestic Violence Center to organize a donation drive and awareness campaign supporting families in need.

Bailey Kleckner – Holley CSD

Founded the Charles F. Chidsey Turtle Conservation Organization in honor of her late uncle and led environmental awareness efforts focused on turtle conservation. Her work included community cleanups, policy discussions, research, public presentations, and school-wide awareness campaigns.
